Sorry, this is blurrrryy. This little fellow was about 9 when this picture was taken. He didn't have such a good day on Tuesday, as he thought he might be having another heart attack. At 72 years old, Dad is coming to grips with the ageing process, which most the times are difficult. It is not easy for them to age or for us children see them go through the struggle. He is fine today and back home riding his tractor and feeding the wildlife. Praise God for that.
What a cutie pie.I could just pinch his little cheeks.I'm so glad he's well and happy.Sounds like you;re a great daughter...Ann
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann. My twins look just like him.
ReplyDeleteSo of course Grandaddy is proud of that.
What a great photo! He looks like he could be mischievous. ;o)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteHe's a very handsome little guy!! My grandpa had a tractor too. He would let us ride once in awhile! Have a great day!!

That photo is adorable; I love little boys in overalls! Will keep you Dad in my prayers. It is not easy to watch them age, but it is a gift from God to be able to keep them that long. I just lost my Dad; even at 91, it was hard to let go.
ReplyDeleteDaddies are the most precious things to daughters! You are so fortunate that you still have your Daddy around to love. I pray that his health improves so that your beautiful relationship can continue on and on!

He looks like he could have pulled a prank or two in his day! Charming fellow! Thanks for sharing.....

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteI love that photo of your Dad. I hope he can keep riding that tractor for a long time.
Have a great weekend.

Sometimes it's hard for us to think of our aging parents as children. Your picture is one you will hold dear for the rest of your life. My good thoughts for your father's good health.
