This is Gary Cooper playing the role as Sgt. York who was a decorated WWI soldier. You can go on to TCM.com and download free pictures. They change the pictures monthly.I love old movies and if you get the chance watch this movie. It shows how the war affected even the mountain people back in the hills. It is a true story of a HERO.
I love old moveis.. I just watched " From Here to Eternity".. love it!!! anything pre 1960's is a great movie for me.. I do love all kinds of movies,but the old classics are my favorites. I'll have to check this one out as I've never seen it.. oh and the Gone with the Wind.. great idea too!!
