Thank you all for your kind comments; my creative juices are coming back. I just need that sweet thing called "time".
We have just found out that dad has cirrhosis of the liver; they need to run test to find out what stage. Since, he is not a drinker and has never touched the stuff; they are thinking it is his gout medication. So maybe this will explain some of the crazy things that have been going on with him. It is hard to watch your parents get old. They don't want to and you don't want them to. They want you to stay the child and them the parent but as the years progress the tables turn. I sometimes wish that we lived as the Walton's did; all together. Parents, children and grandchildren. Yes, you have problems; but like with any family, you work them out and proceed on.
Oh Karen, I am so sorry that your Dad isn't doing well. Our Granny isn't doing so well these days either. She hardly ever gets out of bed anymore. She just seems so tired.
ReplyDeleteOur prayers are with you.
and I have tagged you on my blog, today.
I agree with u. We have been through a lot lately so I understand how you feel about your parents. My mom had some trouble with her liver and they told her everything in the book BUT they didnt believe it was the meds she was on...bull crap..it was. She got off of them & after going thru a liver biopsy, all kinds of tests and lots of other un-needed junk, her liver enzymes started going back to normal. I pray your dad gets a wise doc & will be OK. Prayers.....

I hear your there.. my parents passed away in 2000 and 2002, less than two years apart and I wish that I lived with my mom the last two years of ther life. I think she would have done better and that there would have been purpose in her life. I'll be praying for you and your family, this is a hard time to go through. Blessings to you..
