I just happen to come across this and thought, that would be fun. This is the 70th year of the movie " Gone With The Wind". TCM is hosting a showing in Atlanta on the movie. Log on tohttp://www.foxtheatre.org/coke_series.htm to see all the excitement.
And if you are not going to be able to attend, like me; how about hosting your own showing of the movie. You could have a party and invite all of your friends. So, Frankly my Dear, I think it's a great idea...................

Holy cow, I had no idea it was that old! I thought it was made in the 40's! It is a wonderful movie, and Gable is one of my all time favs.

ReplyDeleteI am such a fan of this movie and the book, I wish I could go to that premiere! I've never seen it on the big screen. I hope they'll play it in other theaters too.
We would be a party of three if I had one, because we don't know anyone here yet, especially that is a fan, but I would love to see what your party is like :)
